Following the publication of the AI Council’s AI Roadmap earlier this year, which set out clear and tangible recommendations to help focus the government’s national AI strategy, Dr Lynch reflects on the areas in which these recommendation could go further. A more forward-looking approach to AI regulation, a realistic approach to public sector investment and a strategic plan to create an environment where businesses can become $10, $50 or even $100 billion world-class companies here in the UK.
